We’ve all had chapters close.
Life is like an evolving door; things flow in and flow out.
Sometimes closing those different chapters can be absolutely heartbreaking. It can be leaving a job, divorce, ending a relationship, leaving a job… it can even be when someone passes on.
If you do not allow yourself to grieve, you are not honoring yourself and that closed chapter.
Allow yourself to feel the good things and the bad. It may seem hard, but allowing yourself to go through every emotion will help your healing process.
Everything in life teaches us lessons, sometimes bad but most times good. If there is one thing I’ve learned through my personal trauma, it’s that there is a silver lining to be found.
Sometimes that heartbreak can turn out to be the best thing for you. You can even learn lessons about yourself that you wouldn’t have known.
Honor that closed chapter. Even if it stung.
That closed chapter brought you to a new version of you.
